Archers of Ashby Ltd, is a Ford Retail Dealership situated in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire. The company was formed by Charles Archer and his father Tim Archer, who had owned a dealership in nearby Woodville since 1962, and have been trading as a family owned and operated Ford Dealership since 1987. Since the birth of our company we have built a sound reputation for the retail of New Ford Vehicles, late low mileage Ford Management Used Vehicles and vehicle servicing.

In April 2008 we moved from our old premises on the Leicester Road, Ashby de la Zouch and in to our new purpose built premises situated on the Smisby Road, Ashby de la Zouch.

Our web site has been created and is maintained by ourselves, which means that we update as and whenever we have stock alterations or new product news.

We have established ourselves over the years as a leading retailer of new Ford cars via our strategy of offering fully discounted prices without any 'nasty' hidden extra's. Since Ford Direct evolved in 1993 we have become one of the leading suppliers of this product. The majority of our used vehicle stock is sourced from Ford Direct and part exchanges. Ford Direct is the official used car program for Ford Motor Company, and we specialise in the supply of high specification Ford vehicles while offering you choice and value for money. When purchasing from Ford Direct we endeavour to purchase mainly Ford Management vehicles due to these vehicles having one registered keeper C/O Ford Motor Company in the registration document(V5). Charles Archer, who is our Managing Director, purchases all our stock so you can be assured of the quality of our merchandise.

The majority of our stock is sold throughout the UK via the Internet and many of our customers come from distances including Europe and Australia to purchase our vehicles.

When a vehicle is purchased from us we endeavour to offer delivery as quickly as possible, and on occasions where a customer has travelled a great distance to view a vehicle we may even try and get it delivered on the same day.

We can arrange 7 days Free fully comprehensive motor insurance via FordInsure. Subject to funds being available within your account, you are able to purchase your vehicle in full by all leading debit cards i.e. Switch, Delta, Solo etc. If you purchase a Ford Direct vehicle it would be covered by a full 24 months Ford Direct Warranty, which is valid at any Ford Dealership, 24 months Ford Assist which includes Homestart, Relay, European cover and a 30 day no quibble exchange scheme which gives you complete confidence and peace of mind in the product that you are purchasing. In addition to this, your vehicle comes with a security certificate that confirms that your vehicle is free from outstanding finance and is not on the alert register for theft or a total loss claim.

All other vehicles are checked over by ourselves and are sold either with the balance of manufacturers warranty or a Ford Protect used vehicle warranty.

Servicing and Repairs

Our new premises have been designed and built specifically with our Service Centre in mind.

Our workshop comprises 5 working bays and 1 dedicated MOT testing bay. The bays are equipped with Stenhoj ramps and oil gear. Our Service Centre currently has 4 fully trained technicians and is controlled by our Service Director Alan Willett who has 35 years experience within the trade. Alan has been with the company since day one and has been an integral part of its development over the years.

With the expansion of our Service Centre we are now also able to offer the facility of tyre replacements.

Although we are primarily a Ford Dealership offering warranty, service, repairs and MOT's to all Ford cars and light commercials up to 3700kg, our Service Centre is more than capable of carrying out service, repairs and MOT's to all makes of vehicle.
