Driveaway cover is available on the following vehicles purchased through a Ford
dealer:

• New Ford vehicles not included in any free insurance promotion
• Any used vehicle (regardless of manufacturer)

Who provides Driveaway?

Driveaway is provided by Ford Insure, Ford's recommended motor insurance cover, when you agree to purchase the vehicle and satisfy the terms of the offer.

How do I get Driveaway?

First ask your salesperson for your new car's registration number, model, engine cc, the vehicle registration date (If applicable), collection date and their unique Ford Dealer Code.
One you have ALL the details listed above and are within 14 days of the collection date, simply call 0800 0159 887 and quote "Driveaway", for a no obligation quotation. You will then receive a Ford Insure reference number, which you will need to pass to your dealer salesperson.

Then...

Once your Ford dealer has received your Ford Insure reference number, your new car will be taxed and your 7 day Driveaway cover will be activated from your agreed collection date, allowing you to "Driveaway" your new vehicle.

Why Ford Insure?

If you decide to take advantage of Ford Insure's annual insurance policy your cover will be activated from day 8. If you change your insurer to Ford Insure part way through your policy Ford Insure may be able to "round up" your number of years No Claims Discount.
