| It's
hard enough finding the right used car, let alone a used car dealer you
can trust. However, when you buy a FordDirect car, you can be absolutely
sure there won't be any nasty surprises. Every vehicle is prepared to
the highest standards before being given a tamper-proof hologram - the
mark of a genuine FordDirect car.
The process starts with an assessment
from RAC engineers. Every part of the car is closely scrutinised - from
the paintwork to the upholstery and even the tool kit. The car is then
given a road test and thoroughly reconditioned. Any defects noted on the
preliminary check are put right, the car's history is brought up to date
and it has a full valet. |
| 24-month
RAC cover
You can rest
easy knowing your Ford Direct car comes with free AA vehicle membership
for a full two years. The cover is comprehensive. It includes AA
Roadside, AA Recovery, AA 'At Home' service and a free telephone linkline to your personal incident manager at the
AA. You also get the
use of a replacement vehicle (subject to status) if the Ford Direct
dealer can't repair your vehicle within twenty-four hours and the
vehicle can't be used. |
Two-year
unlimited mileage warranty
Ford Direct's stress-relieving qualities
start with a comprehensive two-year warranty. The warranty provides
unlimited mileage protection against failure due to manufacturing or
material defects in most original specification components. There are no
limits to either the number or value of claims you can make. But
remember - the warranty is invalidated if the vehicle is modified or
used for rallying, racing, private hire, taxi services or short-term
rental. Vehicles leased for six months or more are still eligible.
30-day exchange plan
Everyone's entitled to change their mind.
That's why you're welcome to exchange your Ford Direct car within 30
days of purchase or 1,000 miles - whichever is sooner. Not even new cars
have this plan, which is subject to just a few sensible terms and
conditions.
The vehicle must be:
- Returned to the selling dealer
- The same vehicle as sold (including
tyres, options, etc.)
- In the same condition as sold (i.e. no
accident damage)
- Exchanged for another vehicle of a
similar or higher price (you'll have to pay the extra if there is a
difference)
If you've bought the vehicle on finance,
you'll need to settle your balance with the finance company and sign a
new finance agreement. |
